Chapter Three: In Which Seris Suffers Brain Damage (She Actually Didn’t, But We Say She Did For Comedic Effect)

Two hours later at the beginning with a headache? I most definitely could NOT do that. I had fallen head-first close to the top after slipping off a badly-angled hand grip, and hit the very much metal platform. Good thing someone dragged me back to the start and hea- how did they heal me? I sat up, rubbing the back of my head.
The girl I met noticed and said, “Good! You’re awake. Now, I forgot to tell you my name, it’s Soonroak.”
I looked at her, a bit shocked, “Wow, I mean, priorities, I guess , but how about next time you don’t start off with your name and instead start with stuff like, oh, I dunno, checking to make sure I don't have a concussion or something?”
She stepped back, surprised, “How very rude of you to say that when I could've just pretended to not notice and never called over erGg to save you.”
“Who’s erGg?” She pointed to the first person I talked to, “him. Also, erGg is a Treeptian name, said in Treian, great job saying it correctly, first time!”
I blinked at her, “I thought I said to get your priorities straight.”
She sighed and walked away muttering, “you are a hopeless case, aren’t you?”
I reached out towards her, “No, wait!” I asked, “What rank did I get?”
She turned back to me, “0, Specialess. Now, c’mon if ya’ wanna get a class.”
I turned my head to the side, “Class? Ok, now you have GOT to be kidding me”
“Nope. Dead serious."
“Whelp, there goes my hopes of making it home in time for my BIRTHDAY DINNER,” I sighed, exasperated. The sun was starting to set, and I was about 90% sure my mom would be worried about me by now.
She looked confused, “What do you mean? You're not from here?”
“Nope.” I wore a ‘dead-serious’ face, “pretty sure I’m not even from this WORLD, let alone area.”
“Different world? Ehhh, we have time for that discussion after we get’cha class.”
“'Kay,” I said, and followed her to the class test.
The announcer said pretty much the same thing as with the rank test, so I’ll spare you the details.
