Chapter Four; In Which Seris Discovers She Is Lame (Not Really, She’s The Main Character After All.)

After the boring written class test, I discovered that I was… An essentially Nothing-Nothing. By that I mean that I got rank 0 - Specialess - no powers or gimmick and No. Class. At. All.

That was not fun to find out. To be honest, though, I have always been a bit more of a ‘Hoo-Ha!’, punchy-stabby kinda’ person. They did give me these cool tiny daggers, so I guess that’s nice.

Soonroak said she would let me stay at her house, but what she failed to mention was that it involved climbing into a tree. Not up a tree, like you would with a treehouse, no. Into the tree. When I did it felt… weird, like I was shrinking. Because I was. Apparently the reason there were so many trees in this world was because there were worlds in the trees. In the trees. How crazy is that?

Anyways, the world Soonroak lives in is pretty nice, everyone lives in treehouses, thankfully. A bit boring, but nicer than more tree-worlds. Hers is pretty cozy, not much going on though. No candles or fireplace or anything. Then again, they do live in a tree.
